For Tyneside Cinema, I created animated projection designs inspired by classic Christmas films, including Home Alone and It’s a Wonderful Life. The work reinterpreted familiar festive imagery through contemporary motion design, balancing nostalgia with a clean, graphic style.

The projections were displayed on the exterior of the cinema for 12 weeks leading up to Christmas, forming a rotating seasonal programme visible to passers by throughout the winter period. My role covered concept development, visual design and animation, with a focus on legibility and looping.

The final projections gave the walkway a strong festive presence and helped Tyneside Cinema’s footfall during one of its busiest times of year.
