About

Jay Halim is a Graphic Designer living and working in London, exploring visual communication through various mediums. Jay has a strong interest in working with editorial, motion, audio reactive and print design.

Jay graduated from Newcastle College University Centre with a First in Visual Communications, before going on to study at Ravensbourne London, where he graduated with a First in Graphic Design.

Having a great interest in electronic dance music, Jay enjoys a multitude of different styles from across the scene. Gathering inspiration from festivals across the world Jay has a particular passion for audio-reactive graphics, which is something he works on during his free time.

As well as music; politics, race, and heritage are constant themes throughout the designer's personal projects.

During Jay’s time at Truant London, he has had great opportunities to work on print, digital and OOH projects for clients such as Pizza Express, GWI, Royal Caribbean, Lickd, MHR, and Material Focus.

Truant has also allowed Jay to experiment and enhance his motion graphics skills for internal projects and branding assets.
